Extract of Privacy Agreement available on DBS Group Career website
Purpose
The purpose of this site is to allow you to apply electronically for a job with DBS Bank Ltd, or any other members of the DBS Group. "DBS Group" means DBS Bank Ltd and its related corporations.
Your Responsibilities
You are responsible for the content, accuracy and completeness of any application or information you submit to this site. If you do not supply full and complete information, this may prevent or delay the processing of your application or information. Where you provide third party personal data to us, you confirm that you have obtained their respective consents to our collection, use and disclosure of their personal data on these terms. You confirm that the information that you submit is true and accurate and does not violate any applicable laws or breach any contract or render DBS Group liable to any claim or proceedings whatsoever.
You will be asked to provide a contact email address and a password. For your own protection, you should select a password that would not be obvious to someone else who might try to guess your password. You agree not to disclose your password to any other person, nor to let any other person use your login email name or password for any purpose.
What Happens to Your Information
You acknowledge and agree that information you submitted to this site will be supplied to, used and/or disclosed by the relevant member(s) of DBS Group to assess and process your application, including to contact you in respect of your application, identify and evaluate you for other jobs within the DBS Group; and to conduct screening checks or obtain information of you from third parties, referees or public records, where deemed applicable by DBS Group to process your application. In addition, to help understand the skills of certain applicants, DBS Group may suggest a personal profile exercise be carried out. If such data cannot be obtained, DBS Group may be unable to consider your application.
In order to carry out the purposes set out above, your information may be disclosed to the following parties, whether local or foreign:
• any agent, contractor, or service provider (including subsidiary, holding company or related company thereof), who provides administrative, data processing, computer or other services to DBS Group;
• business partner in connection with the processing of applications for any positions applied for within DBS Group; and
• any other person(s) reasonably requiring the same in order for the relevant member(s) of DBS Group to assess and process your application.
Even if you are not selected for the position applied, we may consider that you have the skills and experience that would be of value to the DBS Group. For this reason, if another potentially suitable role exists or subsequently arises, we may transfer your application for the relevant role or share with the DBS Group member for consideration.
Retention of Your Personal Data
Your personal data is retained as long as the purpose for which it was collected remains and until it is no longer necessary for any other legal or business purposes. Data of applicants (including unsuccessful applicants) will be destroyed after 2 years from application.
Access and Correction of Your Personal Data
For access or correction of your personal data, you may navigate to ‘Access my Profile’ page to retrieve and update your application with DBS Group.
Jurisdictions with Specific Personal Data Protection Policies
Certain jurisdictions where members of DBS Group are located have specific personal data requirements on job applicants. Please also refer to the respective links for the personal data protection policies/statements of DBS Group members.
Amendments and Updates
We may amend these terms from time to time to ensure that it is consistent with any developments to the way DBS uses your personal data or any changes to the laws and regulations applicable to DBS. The latest version of these terms shall apply to you and will be made available on our Career website.
Acknowledgement
By providing us with your personal data, you agree to the above terms, the terms of the respective country DBS Group member’s personal data protection policies/statements, and you consent to our collection, use, transfer, and disclosure of your personal data on these terms.
